All Hong Kong households, residents and overseas workers can apply for the Telecom One
service. If you do not own a telephone of your own, don't worry we can give you an account
with a pin so you can make calls using any telephone.
HOW TO APPLY FOR CALL ONE
There are several ways to apply for the
Telecom One IDD service:
1) Call our 24 hours customer service center at 2111
1090, our agents can take your
details on line.
2) If you don't want to sign up online - call the call center (same as above) and
request an application form for you to fill in. We will fax it or mail it directly to you.
3) Visit our office in Wanchai, we are always happy to see our new customers and you
can fill out the necessary paperwork with any assistance you may request from our staff.

4) Download the application form from our Web Site. Fill it in and either mail or fax

HOW DOES THE CALL ONE SERVICE WORK
Registered Telephone service
To use the service is simple, once you have registered your telephone, when you want to
use the Telecom One IDD service, dial our international switch 300 - 60 - 001 and wait to
hear dial tone.
When you hear the dial tone - dial the country destination (no need to enter 001 again)
followed by the area code, city code and telephone number. If you wish to make a follow-on
call there is no need to hang up and re-dial our international switch. Simply press the #
key to obtain new dial tone ready for your next call. If at any time you want to check how
much you have been spending on IDD, just dial 300 - 60 - 001 as soon as you hear dial tone
press the * key and you will hear your balance read out to you.
Roaming Call One Feature
If you want to make calls from more than one telephone on your account you may apply
for a pin code. This will enable you to make calls from any telephone and bill them to your
account.
This service is also very useful for people who do not have a telephone or who may be
away from home such as an elderly family member staying in hospital who you want to be
able to speak to relatives overseas.
If at any time you experience difficulty in using the service, either setting up a call
or any other problems, report it to our call center immediately by dialing
2111
1090. We are there to help.
Call One Messaging Service
This service is ideal for people on the move and is not confined to IDD. Whilst today
there are many messaging services available including pagers, mobile
telephones and voicemail systems, there is nothing to beat the intelligence of a human being available
24 hours per day to filter and handle your telecommunications information management needs.
Imagine having a personal assistant to answer your phone, faxes and emails. Someone
competent and trained to act with judgment and intelligence - welcome to Call
One Messaging!
Special Tariff Plans
Telecom One believes that customers deserve choices in structuring their IDD calling
needs. We are willing to provide several different tariff plans that, if used properly,
provide excellent value and convenience. For example, Buy Time in
Advance, this service
allows customers to prepay IDD minutes in advance of using them. Customers who adopt this
service will receive a discount from our regular tariff pricing. Other plans include
bulk
buy blended rate calling, regional specific and country specific plans. Please call our
sales department to discuss these calling plans.
RESIDENTIAL CALL ONE PAYMENT
Telecom One issues monthly itemized bills which will show all the calls made during the
bill period. Our payment methods include:
1) By cheque made payable to Telecom One Ltd. And mailed to our address: Telecom One
Ltd. Suite 1803, CLI building, 313 - 317 Hennessy Road, Wanchai, Hong Kong.
2) By direct debit to a credit card (AMEX, VISA, MASTERCARD)
3) By paying directly to Telecom One's Bank Account.
